Unfortunately we are not able to resume grooming operations on all trails at Little Cat.
Some of the trails in the forest cover did not get the full amount of snow expected and with a heavy layer of ice from the recent melt our groomer pulling the heavy compression drag and track set is getting stuck and is not able to get up any slopes or inclines.
We are able to groom and track set trail 1 and the service road to the dam will be groomed.
Note: the service road to the sugar bush will be plowed as we are prepping for Maple Madness which starts on March 4, visit our events tab for details.
We will not be renting cross-country skis this weekend or offering lessons.
Note to walkers: the fresh snow over icy sections can be very slippery, please use exercise caution and traction aids are recommended.
