Brief Property Inquiry

Current property owners, prospective purchasers, or their representatives may request information about a particular property by filling out the inquiry form below.This service provides important information pertaining to a specific property, with respect to floodplains, erosion hazards, wetlands, other natural features, and includes the regulatory floodplain elevations if applicable and available. Cataraqui Conservation staff will provide a brief verbal or email response and a map outlining the natural features identified, applicable setbacks, and applicable studies (if required).As of August 1, 2021 a fee will charged to cover the cost of reviewing site specific information, issuing a brief response, and providing mapping information. The fee for a desktop review is $85. If a site visit is required the fee is $250.This process can take up to 10 business days to receive a response.

Standard Property Inquiry

Standard inquiries are more substantive and include a formal written response on Cataraqui Conservation letterhead as well as detailed mapping information. Standard written responses typically include responses to formal legal or real estate inquiries, or a review of historical files for specific projects or technical reviews. As of August 1, 2021 there will be a fee for this service is $200 per property pin. If a site visit is required, the fee is $365. This service can be requested by emailing development@crca.ca with a formal letter of request along with detailed property details (Pin#, Assessment Roll number, Municipal lot and concession and a property survey if available).This process can take up to 10 business days to receive a response.
