Cataraqui Conservation is advising users of the Lemoine Point Conservation Area that trail maintenance work will be starting the week of Nov. 29, 2021.
Cataraqui Conservation staff will be working on portions of all trails throughout the Conservation Area to touch up sections in need of small repairs or reinforcement, in order to ensure they remain safe and secure for all trail users. Visitors are advised to be vigilant, as from time to time during this process large trucks will be delivering materials via the service road over a two-to-three-day period.
Some sections of trail may be closed for a short time, but there will be appropriate signage and barricades to help guide trail users around the work site, to allow them to continue to enjoy the rest of the property. Please abide by them and any instructions given by the work crew.
Staff will also be conducting minor repairs and maintenance on the south laneway during this time. Cataraqui Conservation will be initiating a larger-scale capital project to revitalize the entire south laneway and parking lot in 2022.
