Volunteer
There are a number of ways that you can volunteer with Cataraqui Conservation. We are looking for volunteers to work in the following program areas:
- Weekend public programs at Little Cataraqui Creek: interpreters, night hike leaders or helpers, guest speakers, sugar bush helpers during Maple Madness, and craft helpers for family programs. We are looking for individuals who are confident and comfortable relaying information or interacting with the public, comfortable walking on the trails at night and have a knowledge and passion for nature or are willing to learn.
- Conservation Area Friends Groups: There are currently three dedicated Friends groups who are looking for volunteer support. Please visit the Friends of Lemoine Point, Friends of Mac Johnson Wildlife Area or Friends of the Cataraqui Trail pages for further details.
- Cataraqui Conservation Foundation
- Tree Planting: The Friends of Lemoine Point host annual tree planting events and are looking for volunteers to help plant trees at the conservation areas. Watch our event listings for scheduled planting events.
If you are interested in volunteering please email info@crca.ca and let us know you interests and we will be in touch.
