In the Cataraqui Region there are few things as awe-inspiring as the natural splendor of fall foliage, when the leaves on many species of trees change from green to radiant reds, oranges and yellows.
Visitors are welcome to come out to Cataraqui Conservation's Fall Colours Weekend (which is also the Thanksgiving weekend) from Saturday, Oct. 08 up to and including Monday, Oct. 10, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery and walk or hike on our trails. Staff will be on hand to suggest routes and provide maps. You can also purchase a hot drink or snack at the Outdoor Centre Snack Bar and enjoy the view from picnic tables. There will also be scavenger hunts and nature bingo sheets for you to enjoy on the trails.
The Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area is located on Division Street just two kilometres north of Highway 401. Entry fees are: $5 per person for adults and children over 12, and $3.50 per person for children 12 and under, to a maximum fee of $15 per car. Annual passes are available for $85 per year.
