The Friends of Lemoine Point are celebrating 25 years!

The inaugural meeting of The Friends of Lemoine Point was held on March 3, 1998 at Centre 70. Many of the 70+ people in attendance remain active in conservation matters in Kingston today. One of those elected to the inaugural Board was Peter Butler. After 25 years, not only does Peter still volunteer with the Friends, but he continues to work closely with Cataraqui Conservation staff on numerous projects at Lemoine Point and he remains a very active Board member currently filling the position of Vice President. Thank-you, Peter!
