From May 1st through to June 5th, 2021 over 45 volunteers helped maintain over 75km of the Cataraqui Trail between Strathcona and Smith Falls. Activities included:
- Brush cutting
- Checking bridges, signs, gates & barriers
- Reporting on erosion, trail surface & evidence of prohibited use
- Filling holes with gravel
- Clearing ditches
- Cleaning up picnic areas
- Removing a siphon tube
- Removing garbage - very little reported
- Pulling and reporting on invasive species
