Beginning the week of Sept. 12, 2022, Cataraqui Conservation Operations staff will be repairing and re-decking four bridges on the Cataraqui Trail. To complete the work staff will be temporarily closing sections of the trail affected by the bridge work during the day. Barricades will be set up and detours in place for users to get around the work area.
Affected areas include:
Bridge 1: Colebrook Rd Bridge (Yarker area) – Detour (East to West) - Camden Portland Boundary Rd to Colebrook Rd via County Rd 1
Bridge 2: County Rd 17 Bridge (near Newburgh) – Detour (East to West) – County Rd 17 to County Rd 17 via County Rd 17
Bridge 3: Otter Creek Bridge (near Lombardy) – Detour (East to West) – Kellys Rd to Anglican Church Rd via Strickland Rd
Bridge 4: Otter Lake Bridge (near Lombardy) – Detour (East to West) – Old Hwy 15 to Bass Rd via Hwy 15
