At a press conference in Mallorytown on Friday, April 17, 2026, the Minister of Natural Resources, Michael Harris, announced the Province is investing $11.5 million in funding over the next four years to upgrade critical water infrastructure. Four dam rehabilitation projects were announced with Cataraqui Conservation receiving funding for the Marsh Bridge Dam on Graham Lake in the Township of Front of Yonge.

“This is great news for our municipal partners and Cataraqui Conservation,” said Board Chair Paul Proderick. “We were pleased to meet with Minister Michael Harris and MPP Steve Clark and are grateful for the province’s investment in an important water control structure.”
