“Collins and Glenvale Creek Hazard Mapping Update – Sept. 9 to Oct. 9, 2026

Cataraqui Conservation is updating hazard mapping for Collins and Glenvale Creek. The updated maps will help inform planning decisions with the intention to direct development away from flood and erosion-prone areas and wetlands. As a property owner, resident, business owner, or stakeholder in the study area, you are invited to review the proposed mapping and provide feedback.

Cataraqui Conservation will be hosting two public open houses, one in-person and the other virtually. The in-person open house will take place on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Outdoor Centre located at the Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area. The virtual open house will be held the following evening on September 30, 2026 at 7 pm. Advanced registration is required for the virtual meeting.

The draft mapping can be viewed on the consultation page, and comments can be submitted by email to info@crca.ca on or before October 9, 2026.

Your feedback is important and will help inform the final hazard mapping product.
