Sunday Jan. 9 brought freezing rain, rain, and warmer temperatures followed by colder temperatures overnight and as a result we have a lot of ice in the parking lots and on the trails. Traction aids are recommended on all trails.
We currently do not have enough snow to groom the trails or rent equipment.
When weather and conditions permit, we will be grooming and track setting classic cross country ski trails, note that we need frozen ground and at least 10+ cm of good packing snow to be able to groom without hurting our equipment or our trails. Ski and snowshoe rentals will be available this winter season when conditions permit. When available all ski and snowshoe equipment must be booked online and by appointment. A skating rink is no longer maintained at Little Cat and access to the ice is prohibited. We ask for your cooperation in staying off the ice for your safety as well as the safety of staff.
