In late October the Friends hosted the dedication of a memorial bench for four long term and active Friends volunteers who passed away in our 25th year:
Colin Boag, Jan and Ron Purser, and Andre Audet.
Families of these volunteers gathered at the bench to unveil plaques in honour of their loved ones. The bench is located on Trail 2 beside the Back Pond at our first Vista View, one of our 25th Anniversary projects, offering a peaceful view of flocks of geese, swans and other birds.
