CANCELLED - activities scheduled for Feb. 20 have been cancelled due to lack of snow and icy trail conditions.
With poor prospects for decent snow conditions for our Winter Fun Day planned for Saturday January 28, the Friends have cancelled this event. Mac Johnson trails remain open daily for your use. Conditions will vary from day to day - if you enjoy cross country skiing or snowshoeing, we suggest you get out as soon as possible after a snowfall!
We are counting on SNOW in February! Mark your calendar for Family Day on Monday February 20.

Join the Friends of Mac Johnson Wildlife Area and enjoy time with your family in the beauty of our wilderness at Mac Johnson Wildlife Area.
Starting at 10:00 am there will be various family friendly activities such as ski and snowshoe challenges on the trails, scavenger hunt, snow fun, canteen and a bon fire with marshmallows. Admission is free.
