One of our most popular seasonal events is back, the Friends of Mac Johnson Wildlife Area Annual Fall Festival at the Mac Johnson Wildlife Area in Brockville.
The outdoor party takes place on Saturday, Oct. 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and features several fun activities for every member of the family.
- Pumpkin Carving & Kids Crafts
- Scavenger hunt & Games for all ages
- Hikes for fall colours
- Hot dog BBQ, Marshmallow roasting
This year, the Mush Larose dogsledders are back with their dog carts, with races beginning at 11 a.m.
Admission is $5 per vehicle.
To get to the Mac Johnson Wildlife Area, take Highway 29 north from Brockville to Tincap, turn east on Debruge Road and drive for two kilometers to the main entrance.
