With the warmer weather temptingly not far off, and with those looking to add some trees or shrubs to both beautify their property and help the environment getting itchy green thumbs, the Friends of the Mac Johnson Wildlife Area have announced the dates for their annual spring Tree Sales.
Starting with a special kick-off barbecue lunch, tree sale, and information session about pollinators on Saturday, May 20, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., subsequent sales will run Wednesday, May 24; Saturday, May 27 and Wednesday, May 31, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon each day. The sales take place at the Mac Johnson Wildlife Area’s tree nursery, located at 4673 Debruge Road (Tin Cap) in Brockville.

Payment can be made by credit or debit card, cheque, or cash. Members of the Friends of the Mac Johnson Wildlife Area receive a 10 per cent discount on all purchases, plus free wildflowers and vegetables (while supplies last).
