The Friends volunteers who work in the tree nursery would like to say thank you to all of the youngsters who spent their Wednesday mornings helping and learning about what we do at the Mac Johnson Wildlife Area Tree Nursery. Each week the youngsters came out, rain or shine, hot or cold and we showed them the various aspects of nursery life from transplanting to weeding. Mom and Dad, if you’ve never been to the nursery, we invite to drop by during our Fall Tree Sales in September. We also invite you come by for a family Fall Fun Day in October covid permitting of course. Watch the website for dates.
