The 2022 Cataraqui Conservation Hike Challenge has come to and end. Thank you to everyone who participated.
To keep the challenge fresh, fun and interactive we changed things up this year to have more of a user-driven challenge. Participants were asked to hike their favourite trails at each of our Conservation Areas, as well as any section of the Cataraqui Trail, and take a photo during each of these individual hikes. Photos were then uploaded to our Challenge photo contest page and the community could vote for their favourite.
Overall we had 81 participants and 162 photos uploaded for the photo contest. 388 votes were cast - congratulations to our winners!

Thank you again to all who participated in the challenge and those who voted for their favourite photo. We heard lots of great feedback on the new format and look forward to the 2023 challenge. There were so many great photos! See you next year.
