south laneway Lemoine Point

Cataraqui Conservation will be conducting improvements to the south access laneway at Lemoine Point Conservation Area throughout early December. This will necessitate closure of the south entrance for the duration of the work.

The closure will begin on or around December 5 and last until December 16. Cataraqui Conservation staff will be posting signage to inform visitors of the closure and to please refrain from going near the work site.

A contractor has been engaged to perform resurfacing of the laneway because it has reached its end of service life and is no longer feasible to be maintained in its current state to ensure viability and safety over the longer term. The contractor will be removing the degraded surface material and regrading it to allow for a more solid base to the new laneway.

Members of the public and visitors to Lemoine Point Conservation Area are advised that there will be NO access to the south parking lot or laneway. Users are asked to access the property through the North Entrance, which is off Coverdale Drive.

We apologize for any inconvenience, but are committed to the safety of all our visitors.
