Cataraqui Conservation staff are hosting a virtual engagement session to discuss the five-year update to our Guidelines for Implementing Ontario Regulation 148/06: Development, Interference with Wetlands, and Alterations to Shorelines and Watercourses under Section 28 of the Conservation Authorities Act. Thank you to those who submitted written comments during the consultation period in July. Many of the comments were constructive and some require further clarification on our end to provide context and address perceptions of our intent and requirements. During the session staff will provide further details on the Guideline Updates, provide further clarification on key areas, and facilitate a Q&A session.
