April 26 - Remote Forest Therpay Walk

April 26 – Remote via zoom link (virtual)
(10:00 to 11:30 AM) Registration Required

While being out in a forest in person with our guide is ideal, under the current stay-at-home orders we can bring this experience to your home. It is amazing how restorative a remotely guided Forest Therapy Experience can be. You do not always need a forest to reconnect with yourself, others and more than human beings. A remotely guided Forest Therapy Experience is an opportunity to slow down and get out of your head and into your body and senses. The experience can take place either indoors beside a window, near your plants, or outside in your backyard (or a combination of both). You do not have to go far to have a big journey.

The program is simple to understand and has proven to help enliven and re-energize one’s mind, body, soul, and spirit. For each session, the guide will offer an introduction, and a series of simple, open, and sensory invitations that you can adapt to connect in a way that feels good for you. After each invitation there is an opportunity to gather, share and listen to each other in any way that you choose through words, the chat function, song, and silence – all is welcome. We end our time with tea (or something to drink), snacks and a final opportunity to share.

A zoom link and further info on what to expect will be shared with those registered the day before the walk.

Thank you front line workers for keeping us safe - please join one of our forest therapy walks for free.
